Free visa and visa on arrival part I


Under  the new president of Indonesia  regulation  number :21 year : 2016  and the laws ministry of law and human right numner: 17 year:2016  of the government of Indonesia has issued the new lists of  eligible free visa countries and  eligible visa on arrival  country.
The eligible free visa countries are  the list of countries whose citizens are free to visit Indonesia with out an obligation to obtain the visa  for tourism purpose. While the eligible visa on arrival countries   are the list of countries whose citizen must apply  the visa on arrival for the purpose of visiting even for tourism.
But practically the immigration sometimes determine the citizen  from the list of free visa countries to obtain the visa on arrival  as  they believe your purpose is not only about tourism .

The types of Indonesian visa. (conversion of visa) part IV.





For those who has entering Indonesia under the visa index of 2.1.1 or single entry social business visa  can convert  his/her to some different type of visa The conversion is fully processed in Indonesia  visa without having to leave out of Indonesia under the certain purpose and condition. Below  are the  eligible cond

The  holder of 2.1.1  visa type visa who intend to study in Indonesia.
Suppose your purpose  is  to joint a school in  Indonesia and   you has used the 2.1.1 visa type to enter Indonesia . Later on  your visa can be converted  become the 3.16  visa type  . The process of converting  this 2.1.1 visa need your school to be the sponsor and  also need a recommendation from ministry of high education of Indonesia .By this recommendation  along with other supporting documents the local Immigration office will accept  your converting application. Maximally this type of visa (3.1.6) can be given for 2 years.
2.
The holder of 2.1.1 visa type  who intend to joint his/her Indonesian family member.
Suppose your  purpose is to visit your Indonesian family member for sometime then after all if you decided to stay longer than 6 month , you can convert your visa become the 3.1.7 visa type. For this case you need your Indonesian family to be the sponsor and  some  documents which describe your relation to your sponsor is needed (Marriage certificate,birth certificate  etc) .

The holder of 2.1.1. visa type who intent to attend an interview of job.
If you has  used  the 2.1.1 visa type for an interview  and the  interview was succeeded,under the same sponsor you can converted this type of visa to become the 3.1.2 visa type (working visa)

The regulation for child from mixed married (part I)







The gov. Indonesia for sure doesn’t apply the dual citizenship  for its citizen, except  for the child who born from the mixed married between Indonesian and other citizenship . its regulated  under the laws of The minister of law and human rights number  22 years 2012  (about  the registration of the dual citizenship child and the application of immigration facilities) . This exception be in effect until  the child`s age is 18 or before the age of 18 when she/he has married. It also can be extended until the age of 21 under the some  circumstances  for the single one.
                The registration  of dual citizenship  or referred as AFFIDAFIT  can be held in or outside Indonesia but please notify, if your child born in Indonesia  please make  him/her  the passport of Indonesia first instead of his/her other country passport  ,other wise  the immigration of Indonesia will consider him/her should bear a KITAS. Regarding  to this matter  the  distance  of    making  his/her other country passport than that for  Indonesia passport will consider as overstay.
                To make the Indonesian  passport  for the mixed married child the requirement is quite the same with those for non mixed married .These below are the requirement for applying the concerned passport.

Married book or married certificate .(translated in Bahasa if it was held not in Indonesia)
The  both passport of his/her father and mother.

Birth certificate of his/her.

The  declaration of your embassy that he/she  haven’t made  the passport of his/her other  country.

5.
The ID card of his/her Indonesian  father or mother  along with the family card.

6.
Registered letter of your married certificate  from civil office if your married was held not in Indonesia.

Foreigner Investment part II (company establishment)





How to establish a company  for foreigner?
As a meant of foreigners` business in Indonesia, establishing a company  (or PT. in Bahasa) for  some reason is the best choice.  but of course its  become the PT. of foreign investment no matter how many your share is .100% or 1 % share of foreigner automatically . How ever the procedures is a bit different than local PT .There are three  procedures of  establishing the foreign PT. but the procedure I displayed here is  the most common to apply
1.

Request the name  of     PT.

Applying the principal license of  foreign company

Deed of establishment and legalization from ministry of laws and  human rights

To register  PT`s. domicile at the local government

To register PT at the state tax office to obtain PT`s tax identification number and  the registration certificate

To register  PT at  The  trading  and industry  of  province or municipality 

The minimum limit of authorized capital of foreign company or foreign  PT must be 10.000.000.000 (IDR)- and the 25% of it must   be paid up capital.  Please also be careful of PT`s domicile , because not all location can be the domicile of PT . Its  depend on the policy of local government but mostly the housing is forbidden to be the domicile of PT.

    Some foreigners come to Indonesia come for visiting and social purpose some come for employment and business  purpose .
